10 random facts about me

for my first blog post, i thought i'd start out simple and easy!! here's 10 random facts you may or may not have wanted to know about me LOL.

1. i am ADDICTED to chapstick!! i have 1 stick minimum in every bag/purse/wallet/my car/on my night stand etc. i can't go more than like 30 minutes without reapplying, and EVERYONE in my family is the same way LOL. some of our family friends call us the "chapstick family".

2. i am 100% a virgo. i have all the virgo traits like...

best: hardworking, critical thinker, faithful, remembering everything, reliable, taking responsibility seriously, honest, loyal friend, ambitious

worst: too critical, too honest, uptight, stubborn, picky, judgmental, impatient, perfectionist and remembering EVERYTHING.

basically all my Virgo traits are the best AND the worst things about me! LOL

3. i drink soooo much water daily. my hydroflask is literally ALWAYS with me (VSCO girl much?? LOL). some have even gone so far as calling it my "Linus's blanket" ;) but hey, in the event of an apocalypse i'll be so hydrated i'll be fine without water for DAYSSSSS.

4. i had a benign tumor cut out of my knee when i was 12. it took a year for my parents to take me seriously that there may be something wrong haha. and another 5 months for the doc to figure out what the heck it was. turns out it was a tumor called Pigmented Villonodular Synavitus (PVNS). (the doc said it's such a long name because they have no idea what it actually is so they are just describing what it looks like). PVNS is really rare, only 1.8 in a million people get it, so once removed, my tumor was donated to science LOL.

5. going on weird medical history... apparently my younger brother poked me in the eye with a stick when we were really little. i don't remember this at all and when i asked my mom more about it, she said "i don't want to talk about it..." hmmm... so i have no idea what actually happened haha.

6. and on the subject of eyes... i have very big blue eyes. it's definitely the most common physical trait people comment and compliment me on. unfortunately, though blue eyes are very pretty, they also are much more subject to sun damage, which is why so many people with blue eyes have poor vision.

7. i very much prefer to listen to the same songs i know and love OVER AND OVER AND OVER again. i could listen to the same song for days (another Virgo trait). and i don't like to listen to the radio or musicals or concert very much because i hate listening to songs i don't know LOL.

8. i bought my own house (as a single woman) when i was 25, something i'm [obviously] very proud of. Cue "I DON"T NEED NO MANNNNN!!!!!" ... well sometimes i do haha.

9. my favorite type of food is Greek... hummus, gyros, Greek salads, pita!!! YUM!!! :) but i also love mexican (i'm from Arizona, duhhh). and my favorite one item of food is definitely pizza!

10. my favorite color is pink, but my favorite FUNCTIONAL color is "TIffany blue". to me this means, i LOVE pink, but i rarely wear it. it's just on all my accessories, iphone, watch, journals, etc. "Tiffany blue" is a much more functional color for decorating, furniture, wearing, painting, etc. (and is the best looking color on me!!! ;)

11. BONUS!!!! i am OBSESSED with my fur babies!!!!!!!!!!! but they'll get their own blog post later LOL.
